Joella Long is an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy Approved Supervisor candidate, a national level credential. Along with ten years of practicing as a couple and family therapist, Joella also offers a wealth of knowledge about the world of private practice. Nine of her ten years of clinical experience has been spent specifically on private practice researching the most innovative practices to keep therapy in touch with current cultural discourse and needs.
Joella’s passion lies at the intersection of systemic theory, social justice, and entrepreneurship. She seeks to uncover that unique offering that each supervisee innately is developing and match it with client needs. By using a foundation of Solution-Focused, Experiential and Systemic theories, supervisee’s walk away from supervision with the confidence and competence to offer systemic couple and family therapy in a private practice environment. Supervisee’s are also able to clearly identify the unique skills and self-of-the-therapist they bring to their client’s giving supervisees a headstart on a career in private practice.
Currently, while still working toward a national credential, Joella is offering supervision at $80 per hour. This rate is limited to only a few supervisee’s.
